Been wanting an outdoor cooking area for a long time and was looking for some design assistance for a challenging space. Â Downtown Pools and BBQ was spot on in laying out the equipment. Â The company is relentless to complete the project under my time schedule without sacrificing the the quality of the work. These guys are great! Â I’ve been getting my water tested there for several months and gotten to know them well. Â When my pool heater decided to give up the ghost just two days before I had a house full of out of town company scheduled to arrive, I asked Joe how soon they could install a new pool heater (mine was several years old). Â Joe said he would do some research on the best heater for my setup and would have someone get back to me. Â Steve called later that day, recommended a new pump and said they would try to get it installed within a day or two. Â They had the new pump delivered the next afternoon and Thursday morning Ed came as scheduled, installed the new heater and had things up and running within a couple of hours. Â It’s remarkable in this day and age to find such competent and responsive professionals! Â They come when they say they will (even on very short notice) and they do good work.

I got quotes from 3 companies. All came within 10=15% of the other. Forget about those coupons in the mail for the $2,000 special–it doesn’t exist. Company started job within two days and completed in two days. The owner is a taskmaster and knows his field well. He tells is as it is. My last job was done by a Paver Company and not the best pool job.  He also takes pride in having the job done right and customer satisfaction, which is why the company was hired. We are very satisfied with the completed project. More money than I would have liked, but  c’est la vie.I would highly recommend this contractor.

Replaced light that had not worked for several years and replaced main drain grate per county requirements. Work was performed as promised and was finished very quickly in both cases. Cost of service includes material.

Cary is the best. He worked with me to have a wifi system installed so I could control the pool system and heat pump remotely. We have a vacation rental and leaving the control of the pool system in the hands of guests was extremely problematic. The crew installed the system very promptly and I was amazed at how well it worked. We have had some problems with connectivity but that was all user error on our side or from guests. Every time Cary has solved the errors for us extremely promptly and, more importantly, patiently. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Fair pricing, excellent customer service from Cary and his crew. There's a reason they've been in business for 40 years while all the fly by night companies come and go...

Joe, at Downtown Pools, is my 'go to guy'. It is nice to have someone reliable in the neighborhood.Last week, I had a problem with my salt cell control panel. Joe came over at the end of the day on his own time, immediately figured out the problem, and then located the needed replacement parts for me on a product that is no longer manufactured. System was up and running in 3 days... all good! Thanks, Joe 😊

I just used these guys for the first time to do some pool equipment repairs at my home. They are by far the best. Very professional, knowledgeable, fair, and prompted. No need to look anywhere else.

I actually enjoy buying pool supplies now. They setup a BBQ section I buy all of my rubs, charcoal and wood from them. Thanks for making my pool fantastic guys!!!

I have used Downtown Pools for at least 5 yrs now. I have never had any problems with them. They have been informative and, I believe given me correct advice. I think if people think there Filters are too costly than maybe that is something you can do on your own. I am too busy to do that. They also take care of my pools every week for a fair price. If I have had a concern or issue with pool service they have taken care of it. I like to do business with people who are customer oriented.

I have used Downtown Pools for over a year now. They maintain my pool weekly and I am paying what I believe is a fair price. I have a vintage pool and they have been able to handle repairs quickly and efficiently. I also had them install a salt water conversion. Their repairman/installer Ed is the best and always does a professional job.
