We at Downtown Pools are committed to supporting state and local mandates to prevent the spread of covid-19 and our field operations will remain open to do our part in protecting public health. The county has decided that water that is not properly maintained can serve as a breeding ground for potentially fatal viruses including E.Coli, Malaria, West Nile and Zika along with cause possible mosquito problems.
Due to these conclusions, Downtown Pools will continue to repair all your equipment and service on a weekly basis to any of our customers currently on our routes.
We are in a position to help keep our communities safe however we must also keep our employees safe so we are asking that you do not approach any of our employees closer than a 6-foot distance. All of our field techs have been instructed if they do not feel proper distances are being kept they are to leave the situation to possibly return after phone contact has been made. This is a hard time for everyone and we all have to work together to overcome the barriers that have been put in our way of being able to service our customers by this new invisible enemy.
For over 38 years Downtown Pools has been in the community to provide honest and timely service and we will continue through this crisis for as long as it is safe to do so in the field. However, our office is closed to the public so we can provide a safe work area for our staff. We can be contacted by e-mail or phone during our normal hours of 7:30 am to 3:00 pm if you should need our services.
